The DPF exhaust pressure sensor is a differential sensor measuring the pressure difference between fuel in the intake and the outtake of the diesel particulate filter. The sensor is used to monitor pollution emissions and if faulty it can cause unnecessary DPF regenerations, power losses, DPF light on the dash as well as increased pollution levels.
