Description

The heater blower motor fan resistor is a crucial component in a vehicle’s heating and air conditioning system, responsible for regulating the speed of the blower motor.

This small yet essential part ensures that the driver and passengers experience optimal airflow and comfort by controlling the various fan speed settings.

By adjusting the amount of electrical current that reaches the blower motor, the resistor helps maintain a consistent temperature within the cabin.

Over time, the resistor may wear out due to heat and electrical stress, leading to malfunctioning fan speeds or complete failure, making its proper function critical for vehicle comfort and performance.
